Karnataka Elections 2018 – Dates, Polling Schedule, Updates & Parties: As the year 2018 has begun and this year along with the Tripura, Meghalaya elections there are various assembly polls are due to be held which also includes the Karnataka Elections to be held in the middle of 2018 which is in the month of May which is expected but nothing could be said as of now as there is no official update regarding the same, all the political parties either it’s Congress or BJP would be going for the campaign at their levels as sooner the EC would announces the entire schedule which includes all the dates which has been as mentioned here.
The official notification will be issued or released by the Election Commission (EC) through the press conference or other ways, and a complete schedule is announced, once official announcement is made, we may also update it here which also includes ‘the last date of campaigning’ given to the political parties or independent candidates by the EC, Narendra Modi, Arvind Kejriwal, Rahul Gandhi etc are expected to campaign for their political parties. Although the elections are too near and once the notification is released, we need to check which political parties are making their candidates contesting from various constituencies.

Once the dates are announced the political parties may be seen as more active for the campaign in the state, the ground seems to be ready for all, the elections once held, usually, the timings are considered between the 8 am to 6 pm, the results last time as follows the Congress won the majority of the seats, 122 were won by the party and formed the government in the state, this year the elections are expected to be held in 2018, anyhow we could expect the Election commission could announce the dates in the month of April or May 2018.
